Andrew “Avi” Greenbaum
Andrew Greenbaum is a highly accomplished businessman and entrepreneur recognized for his extensive expertise in real estate development and management. As the co-founder and driving force behind Triple Double, Andrew brings over two decades of experience in the industry, specializing in medical and commercial office projects, as well as innovative hotel-to-residential conversions. His strategic vision and operational excellence have significantly contributed to the firm’s growth and success in a competitive market.
At Triple Double, Andrew leads a talented team that has successfully managed, acquired, and developed more than 6,000 residential units and over 12 million square feet of commercial space. Through a focus on adaptive re-use, lease-up strategies, and renovation initiatives, Andrew and his team excel in adding value to projects, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of communities and stakeholders alike.
Before his tenure at Triple Double and Hudson Holdings, Andrew was the Founder and Principal of Hudson Capital, a Miami-based mixed-use development firm. At Hudson Capital, he oversaw a diverse portfolio that included residential and commercial rental properties, ground-up construction, and condominium conversions. Under his leadership, Hudson Capital developed over $1 billion in commercial property while Andrew focused on the critical areas of acquisitions, finance, and operational management. His proactive engagement with institutions, brokers, and individual property owners allowed him to identify and capitalize on value-add opportunities in the real estate market.
Andrew’s entrepreneurial journey also includes significant accomplishments in the financial sector. Andrew held NASD Series 7, 63, and 55 licenses and has utilized these qualifications to trade various financial products, commodities, and derivatives. In 2000, he founded Spectrum Capital Partners LLC, a proprietary trading firm that expanded to 200 employees before merging with a former NYSE employer in 2002. Andrew’s acumen in finance has proven essential to his success in real estate, enabling him to structure deals that maximize value and mitigate risk.
In 1998, Andrew co-founded Foundation Source, a financial services software firm that has grown to become the largest administrator of private charitable foundations in the United States. Beginning with $20 million in venture capital, Foundation Source now manages over $20 billion in assets. The firm has attracted a prestigious clientele, including JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Northern Trust, TD Ameritrade, UBS, and Wilmington Trust, and it achieved a successful exit with a sale of over $110 million.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yeshiva University, a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Business Administration at Florida International University. With a wealth of experience earned over more than 25 years on Wall Street, Heath brings a unique perspective to the real estate sector. His extensive background in finance, compliance and regulatory matters, includes key positions at renowned firms such as Kestra Financial, Bear Stearns, Smith Barney, Morgan Stanley, Guggenheim Partners, and Quick & Reilly/Bank of America. Throughout his career, Heath has expertly managed relationships between these organizations and various regulatory governing bodies, ensuring adherence to compliance and operational excellence.
In addition to his impressive financial background, Heath is a proven entrepreneur with a notable track record of starting, owning, and operating multiple companies.
